DICOM Upload
TARANG
TARANG is BharatPACS's DICOM upload application — built for uploading studies as ZIP files or directly from a folder where supported, with a no-compression upload workflow so full diagnostic detail reaches PACS intact.
BharatPACS Sender
BharatPACS Sender is BharatPACS's high-speed DICOM uploader. BharatPACS states it can transfer up to approximately 1 GB in around 30 seconds, depending on your internet speed, with a choice of compressed or no-compression upload.

Worklist
Structured Worklist Stages
The worklist is organized into dedicated stages — All, Created, History, Unassigned, Assigned, Pending, Draft, Verify, Final, Reverted, Urgent and Reprint — so every case's status is visible at a glance.
Case Tags
Cases can carry tags such as Emergency, Priority, STAT and MLC, which can influence how they're surfaced and prioritized on the dashboard.
Customizable Columns
Admins can control which worklist columns are visible to each Center or Doctor, keeping each user's view focused on their role.
Case Assignment
Assign to One or Multiple Radiologists
A case can be assigned to a single radiologist or across multiple radiologists, giving admins flexibility in how workload is distributed.
Reassignment
Cases can be reassigned when needed, with the reassignment reflected in the case's history.
Admin-Level Assignment Control
An Admin ID can assign cases, upload cases on behalf of a center, and finalize reports under a selected doctor's name — centralizing control over how work moves through the system.
Teleradiology Workflow
End-to-End Case Flow
From upload through assignment, reporting, verification and final delivery, a case moves through one connected teleradiology workflow inside BharatPACS.
Cross-Organization Case Key
Each case generates a unique case key. If a radiologist is unavailable, that key can be shared with another BharatPACS-using teleradiology company or Admin organization, which can bring the case onto its own dashboard along with its history; once the report is completed, the originating dashboard reflects it. This is a BharatPACS-to-BharatPACS workflow, not open public sharing.
Verification & Revert
Verification Workflow
Reports move through a verification step before being finalized, adding a second review pass to the workflow.
Revert With Reason
If a Center or Verifier isn't satisfied with a report, the case can be reverted to the radiologist with a stated reason, which stays visible in the case's workflow and history — turning correction requests into a traceable step instead of an off-record phone call.
Reporting
Report Finalization
Once verified, a report is finalized, with the system tracking who finalized it and when.
PDF, DOC & Print
Finalized reports can be downloaded as PDF, downloaded as DOC, or printed directly.
Reprint
Reports can be reprinted from the worklist's dedicated Reprint stage when a physical copy needs to be reissued.
Dashboard Customization
Configurable Columns
Worklist and dashboard columns can be turned on or off per user with check/uncheck style controls, so each role sees only what's relevant to their work.
Adjustable Refresh Interval
The dashboard's auto-refresh interval can be configured — for example 2, 5, 10 or 15 minutes — to match how actively a team needs live updates.
User & Role Management
Broad Role Support
BharatPACS supports Radiologist, Center, Lab, Verifier, Group ID, Assignor, Receptionist, Billing, Typist, Dashboard Viewer, Lab Staff and Physician account types, created and managed from the Admin ID.
Centralized Admin Control
Admin ID provides centralized management of Center IDs, Doctor IDs and every other user type, so an organization doesn't need to operate every role separately to keep the workflow moving.
Short Usernames
Usernames can be as short as 2 characters where your validation rules allow it, keeping login credentials simple for daily use.
Case Timeline & Audit Trail
Full Case Timeline
Every case's timeline shows when the center uploaded it, which radiologist it was assigned to, how many times and to whom it was reassigned, when it moved for verification, how long verification took, when it was finalized, and who finalized it.
Assignment History
The full assignment history — including every radiologist a case passed through — stays attached to the case, not just the final outcome.
Communication / Notes
Case-Level Notes
Notes and messages can be added directly against a case's history, so questions and clarifications between the center and radiology team are recorded alongside the case rather than in a separate channel.

Branding & Report Sharing
Letterhead Branding
